Where’s the money to grow my business?!! What are my options? Come and learn how other small business owners have successfully used available, non-traditional sources of financing in tough times.
SPACE IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR the North Branch Works free SMALL BUSINESS FINANCE WORKSHOP on sources of financing for small and medium-sized business start-ups and expansions.
The session is on Wednesday, Oct. 23rd, from 4 to 5:30 pm, at the Green Exchange, 2545 W. Diversey, 2nd Floor Conference Room.
Existing non-traditional lenders including ACCION, the Women’s BusinessDevelopmentCenter, and Green Choice Bank located right in the Green Exchange, will discuss their financing and small business consulting services. We’ll also provide info on new resources, such as the Chicagoland Business Opportunity Fund and the Small Contractor Bridge Program.
Accion Chicago offers loans and education for start-up businesses and established businesses, and Credit Builder loans. The Women’s BusinessDevelopmentCenter offers training workshops, business coaching, financial and procurement assistance, and a new E-Learning Program in English and Spanish. Green Choice Bank is a full service bank that actively targets lending to the sustainable business community.
Street parking is available on Diversey and Maplewood and other nearby streets; however, do not park on the north side of Diversey during the restricted hours of 4 to 6 pm.
