The emerging green economy is expected to reach $3 trillion worldwide by 2030 and hit approximately $4.6 trillion by 2040.
Join us for a celebration of Chicago’s green business accelerator program. It will be held on July 22nd from 9-11 a.m. at Trogo Kitchen & Market in the Green Exchange (2545 W. Diversey Avenue, 60647).
To RSVP at no cost, please go to this link. Breakfast will be provided.
We have an incredible opportunity to position the Chicagoland region to take advantage of this growing sector.
During our celebration, we’ll recognize nine small businesses who completed a virtual training program and are expanding into the green economy.
The nine businesses represent a wide range of industries across the region. They include: VoxSomnia, Apothecary Grove, Bel-Mar Wire Products, Lucas Tire & Autocare, Big Energy Charging Stations, Solares Energy Efficiency Solutions, CryoCellar, AMB Renewable Energy, and Alpha Electrical Services.
And we’ll honor a group of community development financial institutions (CDFIs) and business support organizations that finished a series of trainings earlier this year.
We’re excited that representatives from our funder, Prosperity Now, a national organization, will attend our event.
Prosperity Now is piloting the green business accelerator program in only four cities across the country (Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Atlanta).
North Branch Works is grateful that Prosperity Now chose Chicago and its businesses and nonprofit community for this amazing initiative.
We hope you can join us for networking, delicious breakfast food, and to recognize the hard work that businesses and community organizations put in to strengthen the green economy in the area.
