On behalf of the Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), we would like to notify you of an upcoming public information meeting for the following project: Chicago Avenue Bridge over the Chicago River and Chicago-Halsted Viaduct Improvement Project.

The Project is located along Chicago Ave. from Green St. (west limit) to Kingsbury St. (east limit) and along Halsted St. from the Halsted St. bridge over the Chicago River (north limit) to Ancona St. (south limit). This project is currently in the design phase.

The improvement includes the replacement of the temporary Chicago Ave. bridge over the Chicago River and the replacement of the roadway and viaduct on Chicago Ave. and Halsted St.

The Public Information Meeting will be at the Bucktown - Wicker Park Branch, Chicago Public Library, 1701 N Milwaukee Ave, Chicago, IL 60647 on June 5, 2024 (4:30 pm to 6:00 pm).

Purpose of this Public Information Meeting:

• To provide a project update/status
• To present a revised design
• To obtain public feedback

The Public Information Meeting Agenda:

• Exhibits will be on display from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• A formal presentation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
• Questions and comments from attendees will be from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
