Goose Island Shrimp House and North Branch Works are teaming up to organize a turkey giveaway for people and families in need of a Thanksgiving meal.

It will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25th at Goose Island Shrimp House (1011 W. Division Street) starting at 11 a.m. until supplies last.

Currently, we have 100 turkeys and side dishes. Ideally, we’d like to give away more than 100 meals.

We’re looking for businesses and individuals who can make a donation, commit to a sponsorship, or support the event as a volunteer or with an in-kind contribution.

All donors will be recognized in a flyer promoting the giveaway and on NBW’s website and in our e-newsletter.

Please share this event with any people who could benefit from these meals. It will be first come, first served on Nov. 25th until the supplies run out.

Goose Island Shrimp House is a family-owned small business that has operated on Chicago’s Goose Island for over forty years.

The business has been a longtime member of North Branch Works and regularly makes donations to charitable causes in our service area. The company cares deeply about the community and is committed to giving back whenever it can.
