This year, we are exploring a different route for our annual event! The boat will depart from Wendella Boat's downtown dock (400 N Michigan Avenue).

We will travel down the main branch through the heart of downtown Chicago before navigating up our "Main Street;" the North Branch of the Chicago River!

As we cruise up to Goose Island, we will share more about the longstanding manufacturing, industrial, and commercial institutions that have laid the economic foundation of our city such as Prairie Materials' concrete yard, the largest in the State of Illinois. 

We will also discuss new developments, like Bally's Casino, Halsted Pointe, Carter Cadillac of Chicago, and the Chicago Avenue Bridge.

These projects will add to the vibrant local business community and keep Chicago prosperous for years to come. 

As with prior years, we will be holding a raffle with exciting prizes donated by area businesses.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to network with city officials, alderpeople, business owners, and community groups. 

This is a great chance to ease your transition from summer to fall; we hope you can join us to relax, enjoy delicious catered food and beverages, and take in the city from a new perspective.
