On June 2nd, North Branch Works joined Revolution Brewing in celebrating its recent rooftop solar panel installation as a part of ComEd's solar pilot program for breweries, distilleries, and wineries in Chicago.

Revolution Brewing was selected for the pilot program due to its commitment to sustainability, waste management, and support of the environment.

As President Josh Deth stated "As brewers, sustainability is a foundational aspect of our work. We are custodians of our space and chemists all at once."

The $30,000 rebate goes to show how breweries, distilleries, and wineries can cut costs on expensive electric bills by making their businesses and buildings more energy efficient.

Revolution Brewing has a history of sustainable initiatives, having been previously selected for a wastewater diversion program through MWRD.
