North Branch Works' New Business of the Year award recognizes a new business in our service area that stands out for its accomplishments and future promise.
This year’s recipient is Wilmot Productions in the Pulaski Industrial Corridor and the 31st Ward. The company has been bringing better ideas into the world since 2023.
Started by Mike Healy and Dan Marino (no, not that Dan Marino), Wilmot Productions manufactures 100% fruit and veggie-based snacks for pets.

These are clean bites without highly processed ingredients or harmful additives or sweeteners.
In addition to manufacturing these products, the business helps other entrepreneurs and companies grow by offering the use of its assembly lines, packaging services, and delivery needs—all from its facility at 4249 W. Diversey Avenue.
Wilmot Productions also does the packaging for the cleanest and best granola bar that you’ll ever have. Please ask Mike Healy for more details, and he’ll be glad to share.
Prior to starting Wilmot Productions, Mike contributed significantly to the Rockwell Street Corridor by launching Guild Row, a social club and creative maker space. His advocacy helped it grow into the vibrant destination it is today.
Mike is a longtime friend and partner of North Branch Works. He is curious, committed to excellence, and embodies that creative entrepreneurial spirit that we work hard to foster and support in our service area.
It’s a great honor to recognize Wilmot Productions and Mike Healy and Dan Marino as our New Business of the year. NBW is excited to see the future growth of the company.
We look forward to supporting your continued positive impact on the food manufacturing and delivery eco-system in Chicago.
