In December, Cook County awarded 3,000 small businesses in the Chicago region COVID-19 relief grants of $20,000. North Branch Works staff connected many of our small businesses with this opportunity and helped them submit applications.

We’re thrilled to share that one of our new members, River North Hand Car Wash, received this grant. It’s a great example of the benefits of joining NBW and how we can connect companies with immediate growth opportunities.

Owner Mike DeMaio has operated River North Hand Car Wash since it opened in 1990.  A family-owned business, the company offers the most comprehensive car wash in the city with a variety services including hand wash, wax, and exterior and interior detailing.

In addition to high-quality car washes, a sister company, River North Collision Repair, provides comprehensive collision repair services.

A leader in its field, River North Collision Repair is known for its integrity and customer-focused service. The business accepts all insurances and will have a car rental waiting for you if needed.

River North Hand Car Wash started operations at 356 W. Superior Street. Recently, the business opened a second location at 1317 W. North Avenue, just east of North and Elston Avenues near Nortown Auto in the 27th Ward.

Collision repair services are available at both locations. River North Car Wash and River North Collision are open seven days a week.
