A woman-owned, family business, Boulevard Bistro serves delicious breakfast and lunch dishes from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. seven days a week.
Prior to opening Boulevard Bistro in the 32nd Ward, Daria worked for the previous restaurant, Cornerstone Café, for over ten years.
Her extensive knowledge of the menu and strong relationships with customers positioned her to start her own business.
She often dreamed about launching her restaurant, an opportunity that presented itself when Cornerstone Café, a well-known, go-to destination unexpectedly closed in October of 2022.
The North Branch community is fortunate that instead of losing this gathering space to a chain restaurant, Boulevard Bistro opened.
Over the past year, NBW staff worked closely with Daria, helping her apply for and obtain a $25,000 national grant from the Greg Hill Foundation and Grubhub Community Fund.
Securing this grant helped the business get ahead by paying for new refrigerators and the installation of new floors.
Supporting small businesses like Boulevard Bistro is a great way to circulate local dollars through our economy multiple times.
Some of our staff's favorite dishes include the Biscuits and Gravy, Southwest Salad, Turkey Sausage Scrambler, Denver Omelet, and the Mushroom Swiss Hamburger.
